"Oi! What's that over there then?!" A Coryphellina sp. nudibranch rears up to get a better look around. That black dot is its "eye spot", not a true eye, in that it doesn't have a lens, just light receptors. By the by, "sp." is short for "species", meaning it's an unidentified species that's probably a type of Coryphellina. This species has been found around Tulamben, Bali for many years, but like most animals, hasn't been fully distinguished yet and given a proper name.

A bright orange skeleton shrimp (Caprellidae sp.) looks a little like a stick insect crossed with a praying mantis, and come in a few colours (mostly shades of orange, yellow and creme). Not actually shrimp, by the way.

Much like The Joker and Harley Quin, a mated pair of Harlequin shrimp (Hymenocera picta) are vividly coloured, and have a close relationship centered around love and murder. While every carnivore kills to eat, most are opportunistic hunters or proper predators, stalking and hunting their prey for a quick kill. Harlequin shrimp are the creepy couple who drag strangers (sea stars) into their lair and slowly torture them.
