10 Reasons why you should log your dives

Digital vs paper

Digital vs paper

Personally, I prefer paper log books to digital – though I have seriously considered designing my own log book app.
Ultimately the paper vs digital choice came to a few reasons:
Power
Phones and such die when far away from suitable places to charge them for days
Water
Phones and such tend to react poorly to wet people, of which divers frequently are. While paper is often adverse to water as well, it is less catastrophic than when most phones get wet.
Stamping
You can’t stamp a digital log book, and I love stamping log books and getting mine stamped!

Log books

Are you wanting a small log book? I have designed an A6 sized logbook taking the best elements of logbooks I’ve come across. It can be upscaled to A5 very easily, for special print runs.
